PoCIS New York is excited to share the official announcement and registration information for our upcoming community event, Gathering Ground: A Day of Connection & Collective Power.
Join us on Friday, December 5th, 2025, from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM at The Riverside Church for a day of community, connection, and celebration with fellow educators working at independent schools in New York. The day will feature interactive keynote speakers, wellness activities, catering by local BIPOC-owned vendors, and more!
Our esteemed keynote speakers are Anu Gupta, author of the best-selling book Breaking Bias, and Camille S. Edwards, Director of Students Affairs, Principal Consultant, DEI Practitioner. Each speaker will guide us in exploring our own minds, bodies, and communities to strengthen our connection with ourselves and our village.
